Robert Pattinson has revealed that he hates his 'Twilight' contact lenses.

The actor wants to send the lenses into space after he wraps the vampire movie franchise.
As romantic bloodsucker Edward Cullen, the Brit has been putting the uncomfortable coloured lenses in his eyes for years - and Pattinson admits he literally has to be held down while make-up artists put them in.

"Everyone else has figured out how to do it, and then there''s two people holding me down because I can''t do it myself... It''s so embarrassing for me - after so many years, it''s still a process every single morning," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Entertainment Weekly magazine.

"I actually want to get some kind of plastic explosive... I want to kill them," he added.

It might be tough for the Twilight stars to transition into careers not revolved aroung good looks and vampires, but Uma Thurman feels confident Robert Pattinson can make the switch. She gushed about the heartthrob actor in a recent interview with MTV.

"He's extremely dashing, like an old-world movie star," says Thurman, who costars with the actor in Bel Ami. "He's incredibly concrete in his presence... and is obviously very handsome."

He's got the good looks, but is he a man of talent? Uma seems to think so.

"I think, he's going to be a really serious actor," says Thurman, 40, "He's a really good actor."

We'll be rooting for him in the next stage of his career.

Robert Pattinson may or may not be dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart (it's one of the greatest mysteries in Hollywood), but we do know that he really likes his hot co-stars! The actor dished about his leading ladies -- onscreen, of course -- in a recent interview.

"I like hot girls," he laughed (via Us magazine). "I like being in movies with lots of hot girls."
All joking aside, he says his co-stars, including his current Water for Elephants leading lady Reese Witherspoon, are all great actresses. "They're all very strong, actually," he said. "I always end up being in movies with very experienced and passionate people. They're never just flimsy floozies."

Despite the level of professionalism (and hotness) from these gals, Robert says love scenes are still a bit uncomfortable. "The love scene in this, I was doing it when I had a really bad cold," Pattinson said of his steamy scenes with Witherspoon. "My nose was running all over the place...and Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig." HOT!

Getting in promotional mode as his movie's just over a month away from release, Robert Pattinson tended to press efforts with an exclusive session with MTV on Friday (March 18).

The "Twilight" hunk spent a half hour partaking in a live chat during which a brand new clip from "Water for Elephants" was also revealed.

During the sitdown, Pattinson was asked numerous questions including his preference in ladies, to which he replied, "I like hot girls. I like being in movies with lots of hot girls. Experienced and passionate."

The MTV chat also revealed numerous Robert tidbits, as a Hollywood Crush entry told: "Rob likes 1993-1999 rap best. He's an iPhone man because of Words With Friends. Rob's karaoke song is Bump and Grind or Purple Rain. He's never seen Glee. His favorite American city is Houston, Texas. Rob doesn't know if he's funny enough to host SNL."

A year later in 2010, the famous couple took the stage once again to accept the same award, yet this time, they actually locked lips, though a bit awkwardly.

Of the not-so-smooth kiss, Pattinson told, "I had the best ideas last night. And I was telling everyone, 'Listen, just leave it to me, I've got it all under control.' Its opening day of April 22nd cannot come soon enough, but luckily a few more shots of Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon in “Water For Elephants” have been released.

In one of the stills, the handsome “Twilight” actor leans in to kiss his “Legally Blonde” babe co-star and in another, Pattinson embraces the petite Witherspoon while place his hand on the small of her back.

In an interview with MTV News, Reese gushed about Rob. "I'm not gonna lie. He's a very, very handsome man. He's sweet and loving and has the nicest family...He's a very sensitive soul."

Robert Pattinson says that as much as he would like to appear in a theatre production, he fears his overzealous fans could spoil the experience.

“I love to do theatre stuff but right now I couldn’t imagine it being a good experience. I just couldn’t imagine it being anything other than people constantly taking photos and stuff.

“I think it’s too much for me to take. I need to have that separation. It’s like there’s too much energy in an audience,” the Daily Express quoted Pattinson as saying.

The British hunk, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in ‘Twilight’, is making the fourth film in the series, Breaking Dawn, in Canada.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart apparently cut a rug last night at a pre-Oscar party at Chateau Marmont. The Twilight stars reportedly danced the night away and went "nuts" to the musical stylings of DJ Jesse Marco, reports Us magazine.

The rumored couple "definitely kissed a few times" during the intense action on the dance floor, reported a source.

These two have been busy filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver and apparently are back in LA to attend the Oscars tonight. We can't wait to see what they're going to be sporting on the red carpet (Kristen wore a black dress to the party last night), but they probably won't walk the red carpet together...

Hollywood was hopping this awards weekend, and stars like Miley Cyrus, Hayden Panettiere, and Scarlett Johansson also stopped by the Chateau Marmont, while other stars hit up Soho House, Madeo, and more for pre-Oscar parties.

Actress Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she enjoyed filming love scenes with Robert Pattinson in their new film "Water For Elephants".

"I am so lucky," Witherspoon said of her love scenes with Pattinson.

"He's so amazing and wonderful and sweet and just the nicest guy too, so you can just add that to the soup. I mean, he's just so good looking and he's a really nice person."

Pattinson previously played Witherspoon's son in Mira Nair's 2004 film "Vanity Fair".

The actress also revealed that both of them share a more humorous than amorous relationship off screen, reports people.com.

"We'll probably just laugh the whole time because all we do is just laugh and joke around," she said.

In "Water For Elephants", Witherspoon, 34, and Pattinson, 24, play lovers involved in a triangle that develops between their characters and Witherspoon's on screen husband.
