Celebs join Red Nose Day's Twitrelief

Celebrities including Piers Morgan, Leona Lewis and Alan Carr will auction themselves off via Twitter as part of Comic Relief's Twitrelief.

More than one hundred famous tweeters will follow their highest bidder, with many adding "phenomenal extras" to help raise more money.

Among the extras up for offer will be: tickets to Loose Women and an opportunity to have lunch with the panel, the chance to join Radio DJ Christian O'Connell as a guest on his Absolute Radio Breakfast show, a signed Miranda script from Miranda Hart and a tour of the Million Pound Drop set from Davina McCall.

Comic Relief has also persuaded Bill Nighy, Richard Curtis and Thandie Newton to set up Twitter accounts - from which they will only follow their individual winners.

From today (March 10) to March 20, each celebrity will tweet a link to the Red Nose Day eBay page from which they can place their bids. At 10am every day, more of the celebrities will reveal the extra opportunities which they are offering.

Others taking part in Twitrelief include JLS, Alexandra Burke, McFly, Fearne Cotton, James Corden, Matt Lucas, Chris Moyles and Simon Pegg.
